Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Automotive Inventory Auditor to join our growing team in Michigan. This position requires extensive travel throughout the state, auditing dealership and shop locations to ensure compliance with company standards and requirements.

This role is ideal for someone with a strong work ethic and the ability to work independently while managing their own accounts and territory. Automotive experience is helpful but not required. A valid driver’s license is required, as this position involves daily travel across Michigan.

Key Responsibilities:
 

• Conduct detailed audits of dealership vehicle inventory

• Develop and manage daily, weekly, and monthly audit routes across assigned territories

• Travel extensively throughout the state of Michigan

• Collaborate with internal team members and dealership partners to ensure compliance

• Prepare comprehensive audit reports with clear findings, detailed notes, and actionable recommendations

• Ensure dealerships adhere to company best practices and compliance standards

• Adapt quickly to schedule changes and evolving business needs

Preferred Experience (But not required):

• Prior experience in auditing

• Background in the used car dealer industry (sales, management, inventory, or compliance)

• Strong work ethic and personal accountability

• Ability to independently manage accounts and territory

• Strong organizational skills with the ability to plan routes in advance

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Willingness to learn new procedures and adapt to evolving processes

• Ability to collaborate effectively with coworkers and external partners

• Valid Driver’s License (Required)
